Change Your Life With The Bible
Posted by admin in case study, Early Childhood Education, Reference and Education, Religion on December 23, 2011
It is no secret that some of the least-attended churches are Bible studies. Many people think of them as boring, and some even think they do not need. The church today offer so many activities that can be difficult to maintain, and study the Bible often gets set aside to support the program more entertaining or amusing. The problem is, people keep busy but no change.
The Bible has the power to change lives. Unfortunately, you can not just rub the Bible in your head and expect that your life will be changed by physical contact only with the Bible. Studying the Bible involves the actual study, which means reading, seeing things, and think through concepts.
Biblical illiteracy is very high not only in our society, but even in the churches who reportedly believe in the Bible. For that reason, people who want to study the Bible should be very careful that they do not take a course in which the “blind leading the blind” (the expression of the Bible, by the way). Some churches allow people with little knowledge of the Scriptures to teach the Bible, if any teaching done at all.
So how the Bible can change your life? The Bible says that he has the power to change the way we think and the way we think determines not only the course of our lives but what happens to us along the way. For example, someone who values integrity above his bag would lead very different lives (and have different experiences) than people who value money over honesty. The Bible teaches that forgiveness and the ability to forgive those who have wronged us can change lives. Someone who forgive others lead very different lives from those who harbor resentment and bitterness nurses.
This may sound like a bunch of cliches, but studying the Bible can be very interesting. The Bible discusses issues such as rape, murder, incest, cruelty, war, crime, and punishment. It talks about a man wrongly incarcerated (Joseph), a teenage girl kidnapped into sexual slavery (Esther), and a man who was beheaded for criticizing a king (John Baptist). The Bible does not present the beautiful scenes and feel-good message. It can be sandy, just like life. But at that time can raise the spirit.
The best method for studying the Bible is not to pick up a Bible and tried to read it front to back. The Bible is rich, complex, and dense. It requires some knowledge of history and culture of the period. A great way to study the Bible is to start at the Bible study of some sort, whether offered through a church or organization or even online. The books of the Bible should really books about the Bible (and not a bunch of the author’s personal opinion). Expository Bible study books are those who take part or book of the Bible and analyzed line by line. These lines with line biblical research offers insight into the best teaching of the Bible.
In Revelation Bible Study

Bible Study on Revelation today has become like a ‘free-for-all’ that many seem to feel licensed to provide what they consider to be the most fitting interpretation without regard to what is commanded in the scriptures. Fields of study where this prophecy is often observed is in the act of distinguishing between the elements of a symbolic literal.
When it comes to determining whether an element in Bible prophecy should be taken literally or symbolically many prophecy students fall. In their attempt to solve a symbolic prophecy in Revelation their study they very often make a determination that the allegation.
When we reflect on the importance of accuracy in our Bible study on Revelation, we need to make the following observations:
1. You have no way of knowing how to interpret the prophecies except God reveal to you.
2. You do not have to seek to resolve your difficulties with Bible prophecy outside of scripture.
3. You do not have to treat the elements in Bible prophecy as a symbol unless you can find the interpretation for it in the scriptures.
4. No interpretation shall be accepted unless you are sure that the perfect is the solution of the Bible.
Only God has the solution to the prophecy
The interpretation of prophecy belongs only to God (Gen. 40:8). Because of all Bible prophecy is from God, He alone can provide the solution. All the interpretations you see in the Bible with prophecies do not come different human speculation but by divine revelation (2Tim. 3:16, 17;. 2 Pet 1:20, 21). If you can appreciate this in the truest sense, you’ll see the prophecies of the Bible in an entirely different light. Accept the fact that you can not understand the scriptures except by divine revelation will take you to be more cautious in arriving at your conclusion.
Do not try to find solutions outside of your Bible
Prophecy is always my favorite mantra, “For every difficulty in Bible prophecy, there is a solution Bible ‘. It is always motivated me to stick to the scriptures every time I run into trouble with the prophecy. If you adopt this position you will find that your answer came more quickly than you think. But if you think you need to solve your problems by consulting with outside sources, you will be in a rather awkward situation, and make it difficult for God to enlighten you.
God works better with people who have the right mindset to his word the Bible. He loves to know that we trust in His word for enlightenment. As a conclusion on every aspect of the scriptures is arrived at by speculative reasoning, it’s not a biblical conclusion but a personal interpretation. Correct this habit by making the scriptures means that only you understand Bible prophecy.
Not be symbolized with no interpretation of the Bible
I was leading out in a discussion of the Bible in Revelation 7 some time ago. In the study group of the brothers made a statement that the seal of God is your character. What really shows that the seals are not treated as a literal thing.
When I asked him to interpret the Bible for this symbol should he simply responded by saying that the book of Revelation is “the world of symbolism” and nothing more. Specifies the symbol is more than just saying, “Revelation is a book of symbols.” The problem I have with this position is that he is laying the groundwork for an arbitrary determination. And people usually make an arbitrary determination as to what should be treated as a symbol every time they want to make a prophecy in harmony with their peculiar point of view-.
Another problem is that when you treat the element in Bible prophecy as a symbol with no clear interpretation for it, you’re really setting yourself up for personal interpretation. If what you say is the symbol does not have a biblical solution, your only alternative to the alleged meaning that the symbol should be! Remember, you are not supposed to know the meaning of any symbol except the Lord revealed it in His Word.
Fixing this problem by treating it as a symbol only of interpreting the Bible. What the Bible does not interpret the meaning of a real treat. You should also look out for cases where some elements that do not require interpretation of prophecy must be understood. The case of Joseph’s interpretation of Pharaoh’s dream in Genesis 41 is a good example of this.
In Pharaoh’s first dream he saw a cow pasture, and the river, but in the interpretation of Joseph only interpreted the cows, but the prophecy perfectly understandable.
No interpretation should be accepted without a chapter-and-verse evidence of a clear biblical instruction
Another problem I’ve noticed apart from separating the literal from the symbolic is the way in which we treat the symbol is interpreted. Here is an example: In Daniel 7:17 it clearly teaches that the four beasts four kings. But some students change the interpretation of prophecy to show that the beast in prophecy is a symbol of a nation because the word ‘empire’ in verse 23.
And they continue to treat any reference to animals in symbolic prophecy means nation as a redefinition of what the kingdom, and without regard to harmony with clear instructions in paragraph 17.
Misleading interpretation of the Bible straight bad enough. But we should not try to use one prophecy to determine how others have interpreted the prophecy because prophecy each has its own interpretation. When you make the interpretation of prophecy you should be able to justify with scripture references are clear.
The ability to distinguish between symbolic and literal elements in your Bible study on Revelation is very important. Your only hope to make any headway in this regard is simply allowing the Bible to provide guidance in interpreting prophecy. As a general rule, if the Bible interpret, it is a symbol, if not, it is literal or needs no interpretation of that prophecy must be understood.
